ALABAMA WASTE SERVICES POLICIES

Payment Policy
All payments must be made in full by the 15th of each month to prevent interruption of service. Partial payments or unpaid balances after the 15th may result in temporary suspension until the full balance is received. Once payment is received, service will resume the following week.

Late Fee: A $10 late fee may be applied to any unpaid balance after the 15th.

Please Note: All service inquiries, billing questions, or account updates should be directed to Alabama Waste Services, not the Vincent Water Board for Vincent Customers.

Holiday Policy
If your regular collection day falls on a recognized holiday, service will be delayed by one business day. Observed holidays include: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

Missed Pickup Policy
Service will be considered missed if all of the following apply:
-Your trash container was curbside by 7:00AM and properly placed.
-The missed pickup was reported the same day by 1:00 PM.
Missed pickups that meet these conditions will be collected within 24 hours of the report.

Cart Use Policy
-Place carts no more than 3 feet from the curb and at least 6 feet from obstacles (mailboxes, vehicles, poles, etc.).
-If you have multiple carts, place them 3 feet apart. -Ensure the lid faces the street.
-Do not overload carts or place hazardous waste, construction debris, or yard waste inside.

Q: Do I have to fill out a response form?
A: Yes, in order to receive trash service in the City of Vincent, please fill out the response form here, email your information to support@alabamawasteservices.com, or go to City Hall and fill out the form in person.
