Holiday Policy
If your regular collection falls on one of our recognized holidays, service will be delayed by one business day. Observed holidays are: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Late Payment Policy
Due Date: Payments are due on the 1st of each month unless otherwise specified.
Grace Period: A 30-day grace period is allowed, and the balance must be paid by the next bill cycle.
Late Fee: A $10 late fee will be applied to any unpaid balance after the grace period (at the start of the next bill cycle).
Service Suspension: If payment is no received within 30 days, service may be suspended until the account is current.
Reinstatement: To restore service after suspension, the past-due balance plus late fees must be paid in full.
Missed Pickup Policy
A service will be considered mussed if:
- Your cart was at curbside by 0700 and properly placed.
- You reported the missed pickup the same day.
Missed pickups meeting these conditions will be collected within 24 hours of the missed pickup notification
Cart Use Policy
Place carts no more than 3 feet from the curb and at least 4 feet from obstacles. Ensure the cart lid faces the street. DO NOT overload carts or place hazardous waste, construction debris, or yard waste inside.

Q: Do I have to fill out a response form?
A: Yes, in order to receive trash service in the City of Vincent, please fill out the response form here, email your information to support@alabamawasteservices.com, or go to City Hall and fill out the form in person.
